How To Change Your Voice On Xbox Mic

Haven't seen a tut on this on 7S before so I thought I'd make one. First off, you need these materials. You can find them at a hardware store or your local 99 cent store.
1. (2.5mm) Stereo Male to Dual (3.5mm) Stereo Female Y Adapter.
Mine looks like this:
2. A USB Microphone/ Built-In Microphone. Any mic that can be used with your PC.
3. A PC of course.
4. (3.5mm) Stereo Male to (3.5mm) Stereo Male Audio Cable
Looks like this. Preferably longer though.
5. Voice Changer software for your PC. Most people use Diamond Voice Changer, but I personally use MorphVOX Pro.
6. Any type of iPhone headphones. This way you could hear yourself speak. (Optional but recommended).
=========================Actual Tut=============================
1. Connect your (3.5mm to 3.5mm) as seen in #4 above to your computers headset port.
2.Then, connect the end of your (3.5mm to 3.5mm) to your 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter seen in #1 at the beginning of the tutorial. Connect your iPhone headphones to the remaining port on the Adapter so that you could hear yourself speak.
3. Hook up your 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter to your controller.
4. Finally, open up the voice changer on your PC and choose the voice you want. You can make yourself sound like a woman, child, old man, demon, etc. The applications posted above change your voice in real-time so you can speak freely into your PC's mic and your morphed voice will be sent to your xbox.
Enjoy.

What I did was just plug in your iPod or iPhone if you have the T-Pain app and plug it into the pink wire. Worked.
Or any other voice changing type of app.

Yep. Works aswell but there aren't many voice changers that work in real time on iOS.

Have fun trolling.

how can I change it so that I don't hear my voice as well as the new output through xbox? For example, use hell demon voice yet I hear my actual voice along with demon voice aka sounds terrible when I record msg on xbox

This means your mic is too close to your speaker, causing an endless echo. (problem with built-in speakers). Install MorphVOX Pro and record, then play it back. It's much more cleaner and user friendly. The quality is also WAY better. I used to have Diamond Voice Changer but it caused a huge echo in the party which annoyed everyone rather than make them laugh

wow...I am dumb don't know why I didn't think of that...thanks. Might also sound dumb when someone gives me simple answer..but morph works great but when I install Diamond the moment it loads up no longer does my mic work...changed all the damn settings in my control panel back to what they were..uninstalling it..reinstalling it...everything ended up have to restore back to like hour before...luckily I had a system restore point then.

I bought a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter(not y adapter) because the Y adapter i bought had a 3.5mm plug. So when i plug everything in i can hear my voice change but it doesnt say i have a mic in the xbox party. i tried to just connect my pink plug on my Turtles beaches straight into the 2.5 to 3.5 adapter and same thing happened. why wont this little cord work?

Yes this does work.
But one other way is getting your balls to drop. If yours have not dropped yet, you can yank, tug, or even stretch!
Best of luck.
